Italian-made 5-gallon glass carboys are perfect for secondary fermenting of 5 gallons of beer, wine, mead, cider or other fermented beverage. Fits a #7 stopper, universal carboy bung, orange carboy cap, or carboy hood. This size is also great for primary fermentation of 3-4 gallons. Packaged individually in corrugated boxes.
The neck of the carboy is smooth and narrow. As a result, a carboy brush is needed to scrub the inside of the carboy. We recommend cleaning using PBW and StarSan.
